What SRI is

SRI is a private spiritual journaling app: you write journal entries (dreams, visions, experiences, hopes, practices), and SRI can generate private reflections, an assessment, and study material grounded in an author-approved source library. This page describes what data the app collects, who it is shared with, and how you can remove it.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address.
• Sign-in data: signing in with Google shares basic profile information (such as name and email) that Google provides when you authorize sign-in. SRI never sees your Google password.
• Journal content:the entries you write, and metadata your own entries generate (e.g. which inner-map theme or dream motif an entry was classified under). Journal content is private to your account; the app's author does not have standing access to individual entries unless you explicitly share one.
• Optional API key:if you add your own Anthropic API key for higher-quality responses, it is stored only in your device's local browser storage, never on SRI's servers, and is sent only with your own requests to Anthropic.

Who we share it with

Processing your data requires a small number of service providers, each acting only on SRI's instructions:

• Supabase — hosts the database and handles authentication (Google sign-in).
• Anthropic — processes journal content you submit for reflection, assessment, or Q&A, under Anthropic's own API terms.
• OpenAI — used only to generate text embeddings for SRI's own source library search; your journal entries are not sent to OpenAI.
• Google — used only for its sign-in flow.

SRI does not sell personal data, and does not share journal content with third parties for advertising.

Your controls

• You can sign out at any time from the account menu.
• You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (journal entries and any derived classifications) from within the app: go to Access → Delete account while signed in. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.
• You can remove a saved personal API key at any time from the same Access screen.

Children's privacy

SRI is intended for users 18 and older, and rated accordingly on the App Store. SRI does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
